Apple to focus on Indian market

A report from J.P. Morgan stated in September that Apple could shift up to 25% of its iPhone production to India by 2025. A new article from the South China Morning Post suggests that this percentage could rise to 50% by 2027. India is an important market with growing demands and market qualities.

The situation between China and USA might have an impact on this situation. USA might try to get their production out of China and focus on other markets. According to reports, Apple has cut back on iPhone component orders from Chinese suppliers, which has hurt the company's earnings estimates and stock prices.  Although there has been a push to assemble newer models, including the iPhone 14, just a few weeks after production in China began, India only currently produces 5% of all iPhones. The iPhone 15 series is said to begin production simultaneously in China and India, according to rumors.

An increasing number of AirPods and MacBooks are being manufactured in Vietnam rather than China as part of Apple's push to diversify its iPhone production away from China.
