Redmi 12C is seen online before the actual launch
The smartphone has been listed on the BIS and NBTC certification websites prior to any official announcements. The certification displays the Redmi 12C model number, which is 22120RN86G, along with its name without providing any additional information, beginning with the NBTC listing.
The Redmi 12C has a 6.71-inch LCD display with a dewdrop notch, 500 nits of brightness, and HD+ resolution (1650 x 720 pixels). It is equipped with LPDDR4x RAM, eMMC 5.1 storage, and a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC. The device is using an optimized version of MIUI 13, which is probably based on Android 13.
The Redmi 12C has two cameras: a 5MP front-facing camera and a dual camera setup on the back with a 50MP primary sensor and a depth sensor. The Redmi 12C has a 5,000mAh battery and can be charged with standard 10W power. However, some MIUI 13 features may not be available because the software is designed for low-level hardware.
