Redmi Note 13 Pro+ now confronts us with a visual leak
Redmi, continuously unveiling new smartphones, currently directs efforts towards a fresh device.
In October 2022, Redmi introduced the Redmi 12 series smartphones in the Chinese market. Now, the brand is developing the succeeding generation of its mid-range devices, known as the Redmi Note 13 series. The base model of this series has already made an appearance on the EEC certification website. Recently, a leak shed light on the potential features of the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus.
Well-known leaker Digital Chat Station disclosed a design schematic of the supposed Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus, although the post was later removed. According to the leak, the rear panel design of the device will be akin to the Xiaomi 13. The square camera island will house three camera cutouts and a likely space for the LED flash. The device is also expected to have a flat display with super narrow bezels.

Further leaks suggest that the device will carry a 6.7-inch display and MIUI 15 operating system, which is based on Android 14. To better understand what the next-gen Pro Plus model might offer, let's take a look at the specifications of the Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus.
The Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus is equipped with a 6.67-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels (FHD+), a 120Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, 1920Hz PWM dimming, and 16,000 level dimming. It features a centrally-located punch-hole for the front camera.
Internally, the device houses a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC, accompanied by LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. To manage heat, it includes a 3,000mm² VC cooling system. The device is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging.
In terms of photography, the device is outfitted with a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HPX main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies, there's a 16MP camera on the front of the device.
