Exciting news for smartphone enthusiasts! Xiaomi's sub-brand, Redmi, recently launched the Note 13 Pro+ in China, and it's now on the verge of making its way to global markets. The device has recently received IMDA certification and has now been spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website, indicating an impending launch outside of China. However, the exact timeline for this global release remains a mystery.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ has appeared on the BIS certification website with the model number 23090RA98I. Notably, the 'I' in the model number suggests it's intended for the Indian market, while a variant with 'G' was seen on the IMDA certification site, and the Chinese version has the same model number with 'C.' Unfortunately, the BIS certification listing doesn't divulge any additional details about the Redmi Note 13 Pro+.
Considering that the predecessor, the Redmi Note 12 Pro+, made its debut in India in January of this year, it's reasonable to expect that the upcoming release will follow a similar timeline. Additionally, the standard Note 13 5G also obtained BIS certification last month, indicating a broader lineup for the Indian market.
The Redmi Note 13 Pro series has enjoyed tremendous success in China, with an astonishing 410,000 units sold in just the first hour of its launch. The Pro+ variant offers substantial improvements over its forerunner, boasting a curved AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, a swift 120Hz refresh rate, an impressive peak brightness of 1,800 nits, and an integrated fingerprint scanner. Notably, it's also IP68-certified, making it dust and water-resistant.
