Developed by Chinese tech company Redmi, the Note 13 5G model is counting down to its global launch.
Xiaomi's Redmi Note 13 5G, after its initial launch in China, is now preparing for a global debut. The smartphone recently received certification from the TDRA certification authority, marking a significant step in its journey to the global tech market. This certification, which includes the equipment registration number "ER26259/23" and the model number "2312DRAABG," follows the device's appearance on several regional certification databases, including Thailand's NBTC, Singapore's IMDA, and the FCC. Notably, the Redmi Note 13 5G has also been certified in India by the BIS certification authority, albeit under a different model number.
Delving into the specifications of the Redmi Note 13 5G, the device features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 × 2400 pixels. It also boasts a high 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, promising vibrant visuals and durability. The smartphone includes notable features like a 3.5mm audio jack, an infrared sensor, and IP54 dust and splash resistance.

At its core, the Redmi Note 13 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC, along with the Mali G57 GPU. It offers various storage options, ranging from 128GB to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, expandable via a microSD card. The RAM configurations are also diverse, with options of 6GB, 8GB, or 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM, catering to different user needs. The device operates on MIUI 14, based on Android 13, ensuring a smooth software experience.
The camera setup of the Redmi Note 13 5G is impressive, featuring a 100MP primary camera with an f/1.7 aperture, accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor and LED flash. For selfies, it sports a 16MP front camera. The device is powered by a substantial 5000mAh battery, supporting 33W fast charging through a USB Type-C port.
