The Redmi Note 12R, part of the Note 12 series, shares a similar design language with its counterparts. While its camera module resembles that of the Poco F5, it may not possess the same level of refinement. According to a listing on China Telecom, the device features a punch-hole cutout on the front with noticeable bezels. On the rear, it houses a dual-camera setup and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The Redmi Note 12R, identified by the model number 23076RA4BC in the China Telecom listing, boasts a sizable 6.79-inch display with Full HD+ resolution. Powering the smartphone is the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, possibly making it one of the first devices to utilize this chipset. It is expected to offer up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card.
Running on Android 13 with MIUI 14 out of the box, the Redmi Note 12R features a 5MP front-facing camera and a rear camera setup comprising a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. Fueling the device is a substantial 5,000mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging support. The smartphone will be available in Midnight Black, Time Blue, and Sky Fantasy color options.
