In India, Redmi has begun teasing the Redmi Note 12 series. The company is likely to announce the Note 12 lineup's India launch date soon. Tipster Abhishek Yadav recently revealed in a tweet that it will become official in the fourth week of December. Tipter claims that the Redmi Note 12 series will launch in India on December 23. He went on to say that the information might not be accurate because it came from a new source.

The RedmI Note 12 5G series landing page is now available on Xiaomi India's website. The Redmi Note 12, Note 12 Pro, and Note 12 Pro+, which were announced in China in October, are among the devices that the teaser on the website suggests the company may release as many as three.

Redmi Note 12 series has a 6.67-inch OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, Full HD+ resolution, and other features. The Note 12's front camera is 8 megapixels, while the Pro models have a 16 megapixel selfie camera. The dual-camera vanilla model has 48 megapixels and 2 megapixels. The Pro model has a primary camera with 50 megapixels and OIS support, while the Pro+ model has a primary camera with 200 megapixels and OIS support. On the back of both Pro models, there is a 2-megapixel macro snapper and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. The Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chip powers the Redmi Note 12, while the Dimensity 1080 SoC powers the Pro models. All three phones have LPDDR4X RAM, UFS 2.2 storage, and a 5,000mAh battery. Fast charging at 33W, 67W, and 120W is supported by the Note 12, 12 Pro, and Note 12 Pro+, respectively. The Note 12 line has a side-facing fingerprint scanner and runs Android 12, which is based on MIUI 13.
