The highly anticipated Redmi Note 12 series for the Indian market has finally been announced by Xiaomi. The Note 12, Note 12 Pro, and Note 12 Pro+ are the three smartphone models in the new lineup. The devices come with exclusive features that'll get your attention. Here are all details.

Note 12 lineup's vanilla variant, the Note 12 5G from the Chinese tech giant, is also the most affordable of the three. The device has a 6.67-inch Samsung AMOLED display with a FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 1200 nits, and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz on the front. The phone has a Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC, which is paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 internal storage from Qualcomm. Out of the box, the Note 12 5G also runs on an Android 12 OS-based MIUI 13 custom skin.

Redmi Note 12 5G has a triple camera setup on the back. A 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide angle lens, and a second 2-megapixel shooter make up this rear module. In the meantime, a selfie camera with 8 megapixels is on the front. The smartphone is powered by a large 5,000mAh battery that can be charged quickly with 33W. Other features include an IP53 rating, a 3.5mm headphone jack, an IR blaster, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 7.9mm thickness, and a hybrid SIM card slot for microSD card memory expansion up to 1TB. Redmi Note 12 series was unveiled by Xiaomi earlier today (5 January 2023), and it will go on sale for the first time on 11 January 2023 at 12 p.m.
