Redmi K60 series release date revealed
Chinese tech giant Xiaomi's sub brand Redmi will soon offer a new serie. Here are all the details.
On December 27, Xiaomi will announce the Redmi K60 lineup in China. On Weibo, the company confirmed the date and revealed that there will not be a Gaming version of the new series. A first for the Redmi brand, the K60 phone will feature a triple camera on the back, including a periscope shooter. Redmi's sub-brand stated in a series of teasers on its Weibo page that the performance of its flagship smartphone is now adequate for mobile gaming and that a separate version is unnecessary.

William Lu, the brand manager, said that one of the phones, probably the standard Redmi K60, will have a Dimensity 8200 chipset. The Redmi K60 Pro was rumored to have a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, but we won't know for sure until Tuesday. Other reports claimed that the most powerful chipset in the smartphone is the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ SoC, and Xiaomi's Redmi K60 features a 3.0 GHz Octa-Core processor for even more power and lightning-fast performance. And furthermore there is a GPU of Mali-G710 MC10 in the engine of this cell phone. The smartphone has a display screen size of 6.67 inches and a resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels, both of which are full HD.
