Redmi K60 series key specs unveiled, launch seems imminent
Redmi K60 series key specifications and first lineup have been revealed.
Apart from Xiaomi 13 series, Redmi is in the great works for the upcoming Redmi K60 series. A popular tipster have revealed the models in the lineup, along with some key specifications. Here are all the details known so far.

According to tipster, Redmi K60 series, will include vanilla K60 model, K60 Pro and K60E model. Moreover, it is also possible series could bring another smartphone models in this series. As to details, the vanilla K60 whose codename is "socrates" will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.
However, it is stated that K60 Pro with "mondrian" codename will be powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. Tipster stated "do not ask why" as to the discrepancy between vanilla and Pro model in terms of chipset. Lastly, K60E bearing "rembrandt" codename is rumored to feature a MediaTek Dimensity chipset. However, it is not clear which Dimensity SoC K60E is going to feature. Tipster speculates it would be Dimensity 9200.
Xiaomi will release at least 3 devices in Redmi K60 series: K60, K60 Pro, and K60E. K60, codename socrates, uses Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. K60 Pro, mondrian, uses Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 (don't ask why), and K60E, rembrandt, will use MediaTek CPU (IDK which yet, maybe Dimensity 9200?)

The vanilla Redmi K60 is expected to be the most affordable device in the upcoming K series lineup. The device, which is expected to come with a 6.67-inch screen with 2K resolution, may have a 5,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. The device, predicted to come with up to 12GB RAM options, is said to have a 64-megapixel main camera sensor with OIS in terms of optics.
This main camera will be supported by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. There will also be a 16-megapixel selfie camera for the selfies. Lastly, Redmi K60 series is tipped to launch very soon.
