Redmi has launched its new monitor
Chinese tech company Redmi, wanting to be a significant name in the monitor market, has put its new model, Monitor A24, up for sale.
Redmi, renowned as a Xiaomi subsidiary, has been gradually enriching its monitor collection ever since it introduced the Redmi Display 1A. While most of their offerings cater to the budget segment, they made a notable deviation last year with the release of a curved monitor. Their latest addition is the Redmi Monitor A24, designed to be economically priced without compromising on quality, ideal for both professional tasks and laid-back gaming.
This newly introduced monitor boasts a 23.8-inch 1080p IPS display with features that stand out for its price range. It has a 100Hz refresh rate, a 6ms response time, and an impressive color accuracy of ΔE<2. The 8-bit display provides extensive coverage, reaching 99% of the sRGB color spectrum. Furthermore, it has a contrast ratio of 1000:1 and can illuminate up to 250 nits.

The Redmi Monitor A24 showcases a sleek design with almost imperceptible bezels on three of its sides, complemented by a slightly more pronounced bottom edge. Its slim profile, just 7.5mm thick, complements its elegant appearance. While the monitor's stand offers tilt functionality, it lacks any swivel feature. For those considering alternative mounting options, there's VESA support available. On the connectivity front, it offers a DP 1.4 and HDMI interface.
Currently, this monitor is available for purchase exclusively in China, priced at 499 yuan, roughly translating to around $70 USD. There hasn’t been any official word on its international availability.
