Red Magic 8 Pro pre-orders started: launch date confirmed

Red Magic 8 Pro will be the first gaming smartphone to feature Qualcomm's most recent Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Now that pre-orders for this gaming smartphone have gone live in China, here are all the details.

Although it is anticipated that the handset will be announced on December 26, 2022, it is currently unknown when the company will actually launch it.

We know from this listing that the device will have a 6.8-inch OLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a high refresh rate. Because it is a smartphone for gaming, it will also have a powerful cooling system that will keep temperatures under control even when doing intense tasks like gaming. There will even be a turbofan for dissipating heat as part of this cooling system. A 16-megapixel selfie camera will be on the front, and a 50-megapixel triple camera setup is expected on the back.

The device is likely to be powered by a substantial 5,000mAh battery pack with impressive 165W fast charging capabilities.
