Oppo's latest foray into the smartphone market, the Reno 11 series, has made a significant splash with its launch in China. The series, comprising the standard Reno 11 and the more advanced Reno 11 Pro, has been met with considerable enthusiasm, evident in the impressive 280% year-on-year growth in pre-orders for the standard model compared to its predecessor, the Reno 10. Adding to this success is the "Moonlight Gem" color variant, which has quickly risen to become Oppo's best-selling white mobile phone.

The Reno 11 series marks a notable advancement in Oppo's smartphone lineup. The Reno 11 Pro, positioned as the premium offering in the series, boasts a 6.74-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, paired with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. The device also features a versatile triple-camera system on the back, including a 50MP main sensor, a 32MP telephoto sensor, and an 8MP ultrawide sensor, complemented by a 32MP front-facing camera for high-quality selfies.

The standard Reno 11, while slightly less feature-packed than its Pro counterpart, still offers impressive specifications. It comes with a 6.7-inch OLED display, capable of reaching a peak brightness of 950 nits. Under the hood, the phone is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC, supported by 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. Its camera setup mirrors that of the Pro model, ensuring high-quality photography capabilities.

Both models are supported by large batteries, with the Reno 11 Pro featuring a 4,700mAh battery and the standard Reno 11 boasting a slightly larger 4,800mAh battery. The series emphasizes fast charging, with the Pro model supporting 80W SuperVOOC charging and the standard model offering 67W SuperVOOC charging.

Currently, the Reno 11 series is available for purchase in China, with the standard Reno 11 starting at CNY 2,499 (approximately $350) and the Reno 11 Pro at CNY 3,499 (approximately $495). The anticipation for its availability in other markets remains high, with potential launches expected in the coming months.
