The most accurate information leak to date has arrived for the Realme GT Neo 5 Pro, which has been making its name known through leaks for some time.
The third quarter of this year is anticipated to see heightened competition among prominent brands such as iQOO, OnePlus, Redmi, and Realme, all gearing up to debut their latest flagship phones. As revealed by popular tech insider Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the upcoming flagship from Realme has been dubbed as the Realme GT Neo 5 Pro. In addition, two novel Realme devices have acquired approval from China's MIIT authority, sparking conjecture that one of these could be the anticipated GT Neo 5 Pro.
Model numbers RMX3820 and RMX3823, seen in the certification issued by the MIIT authority, mark these upcoming Realme phones. It's yet to be clarified if these model numbers denote individual devices or simply variants of the same device, tailored for disparate networks within China. Consequently, the assumption is that the Realme GT Neo 5 Pro may correspond to the RMX3820/3 model numbers.

Recent sources suggest that Qualcomm is preparing to unveil the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 chip in July, which is believed to be an overclocked variant of the SD8G2. There are speculations that the Realme GT Neo 5 Pro will come with this Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 2 SoC.
According to the circulating rumors, the Realme GT Neo 5 Pro will feature a 6.74-inch flat OLED panel, providing a 1.5K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, 2160Hz PWM dimming, and an under-display fingerprint sensor. The device is expected to run on Android 13 OS, overlaid with Realme's UI 4.0 skin.
The Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 2-powered device is likely to come with 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It's expected to be supported by a hefty battery with 100W charging capability. As for its photographic prowess, it might house a 50-megapixel primary camera, complete with OIS support. The design could flaunt a fresh rear outlook, which might echo the aesthetics of the Realme 11 Pro series.
