We now know that the GT Neo 5 will be announced on February 9 and will be the first smartphone to feature 240W fast charging, as confirmed by Realme. The company announced that the launch would occur in China at 2 p.m. local time.

It is more likely that there will be more rumors and leakes when it is getting closer to the actual launch. What we know so far is a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset is expected to power the GT Neo5, though a Dimensity 8200 model that only supports 150W of fast charging may be available. Similar to the Oppo brand's Find N2 and Reno9 Pro+ smartphones, other reports mentioned a 50MP main camera with an IMX890 sensor and OIS. It is likely that the screen will be 6.7" AMOLED, have a resolution of 2772x1240 pixels, and have a refresh rate of 144 Hz.
