The tech world recently saw the introduction of the Realme C53 smartphone. Launched in Malaysia, this device was first showcased on Realme's official website, presenting a myriad of features and specifications that make it stand out in today's saturated smartphone market.
This model boasts a 6.74-inch IPS LCD display with an HD+ resolution, setting itself apart with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. It even reaches peak brightness levels of 560 nits, ensuring a vibrant viewing experience. The Realme C53 comes with a waterdrop notch screen, allowing for an impressive screen-to-body ratio of 90.3%. In terms of design, this smartphone maintains a slim profile with a thickness of just 7.49mm, offering two chic color variants, gold and black, to cater to varied style sensibilities.
When it comes to performance, the Realme C53 is powered by the Unisoc T612 octa-core chip, coupled with the Mali-G57 GPU. This combination ensures seamless operation, further complemented by 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Users can expand the storage capacity up to an impressive 2TB via a microSD card.

The camera set-up on this device includes a dual-camera configuration on the rear, featuring a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP portrait lens. This camera system promises vibrant, detailed photos. Additionally, the device features an 8MP front camera for crisp selfies.
The Realme C53 operates on Realme UI T version, based on Android 13, providing a user-friendly interface with a host of engaging features. A 5000mAh battery ensures prolonged use, supporting 33W fast charging for rapid power replenishment.
Some of the noteworthy add-ons include a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB Type-C interface, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 5.0, and Wi-Fi support (2.4GHz, 5GHz).
The smartphone is now available on Lazada and Shopee, priced at MYR 550 ($119) and MYR 600 ($130) respectively, offered in Champion Gold and Might Black color options. Though it's expected to be introduced to other Asian markets soon, its launch in India seems unlikely. This is primarily because the Realme C53 is a rebranded version of the Realme Narzo N53, which is already available in the Indian market.
