Realme C51's release date gets confirmed
Recently, one of the most active companies, Realme, is now counting down the days to introduce its new budget-friendly smartphone.
Realme is poised to add the Realme C51 to its distinguished C series in India. This mid-range smartphone is already available in Taiwan, Indonesia, and other select countries. The official unveiling is scheduled for September 4, 2023, at 12 Noon, and the digital debut will be hosted on Realme’s social media channels.
The Realme C51 boasts a 6.7-inch IPS LCD display that features HD+ resolution complemented by a 90Hz refresh rate and can achieve up to 560 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood, it operates on a UNISOC T612 Octa-Core 12nm processor paired with a Mali-G57 GPU. Users can expect 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 2TB via a microSD card.

In terms of its design, the dual-SIM device supports nano SIM cards in both slots and comes with a dedicated microSD slot. For photography enthusiasts, the Realme C51 sports a 50MP rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture, complemented by a depth sensor and an LED flash. Selfie lovers can utilize the 5MP front camera that boasts an f/2.0 aperture.
Further enhancing its features, the Realme C51 incorporates a side fingerprint sensor and a robust 5000 mAh battery, supported by 33W SuperVOOC fast charging. The device also accommodates a 3.5mm audio jack and offers a range of connectivity options, including 4G LTE, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS+ GLONASS, and USB Type-C.
As for aesthetics, the smartphone is available in two colors: Mint Green and Carbon Black. While its retail price in Taiwan is NT$ 3,990 (equivalent to Rs 10,430 or USD 127) for the 4GB + 64GB storage option, similar pricing is anticipated for its Indian launch.
