Google is all set for a major launch event on October 4, 2023, where they will introduce the highly anticipated Pixel 8 series of smartphones.

During the event, the tech giant plans to unveil the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, with pre-orders for these devices commencing on the very same day. Notably, as of October 2, 2023, Google has officially announced that Flipkart will be the platform where Indian customers can place their pre-orders for the Pixel 8 series.

The Pixel 8 lineup is expected to pack a powerful punch, featuring the new Tensor G3 SoC and the Titan M2 chipset. The standard Pixel 8 will boast 8GB of RAM and offer storage options of up to 256GB, while the Pixel 8 Pro takes it a step further with up to 12GB of RAM and a whopping 512GB of storage. Display-wise, the higher-end model sports a 6.7-inch LTPO OLED screen with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and a sharp 2K+ resolution. In contrast, the standard variant boasts a slightly smaller 6.17-inch OLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and the same impressive 120Hz refresh rate.

It's worth noting that the Pixel 8 series is expected to come with a premium price tag. Rumor has it that the Pixel 8 will start at $699 USD, while the Pixel 8 Pro will begin at $899 USD. As for color options, the Pixel 8 offers Peony Rose, Haze, Obsidian, and Mint choices, while the Pixel 8 Pro provides options in Porcelain, Bay, Obsidian, and Mint.
