After a notable three-year hiatus, Honor is poised to make a triumphant return to the Indian smartphone arena, unveiling its premium mid-range Honor 90 series. Debuting with the Honor 90, which made its entrance in China alongside the Honor 90 Pro this May, the device showcases the prowess of a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC and an impressive 200MP primary camera, setting the stage for Honor's resurgence in the market.

In its Chinese launch, the Honor 90 presented itself at an entry price of approximately Rs. 29,000 for the 12GB + 256GB variant. However, as the device prepares for its Indian debut, estimates from The Mobile Indian project a price of around Rs. 35,000. Contrastingly, another source, IANS, hinted at a possible price tag of Rs. 45,000 just last month.

Positioned within this price bracket, the Honor 90 will find itself in a fierce competition, squaring off against formidable rivals including the OnePlus Nord 3 5G, iQOO Neo 7 Pro, Poco F5 5G, OnePlus 11R, Oppo Reno 10 Pro, and Nothing Phone (2).

Driving Honor's resurgence on the Indian landscape is none other than the former CEO of Realme, Madhav Sheth. This strategic comeback is further bolstered by Honor's strategic collaboration with PSAV Global, leveraging their extensive network of 5,000 retailers spanning across more than 100 cities.
