Popular Samsung foldable smartphones get new updates in US!
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 finally received the stable Android 13 and One UI 5.0 update. Update is available to the owners in the US whose smartphones are unlocked.
Samsung has released the stable Android 13 update for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 Flip in the United States ahead of schedule. Moreover, company has recently released new updates for Galaxy A33 5G, Galaxy A53 5G, Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy S20, and Galaxy S21. The update for the foldables are exclusive to the people who have enrolled in beta program.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 have received stable version of Android 13 and One UI 5.0 update
Galaxy Z Fold 4's stable Android 13 and One UI 5.0 update is available in firmware version F936U1UEU1BVK3. In the United States, users of unlocked Galaxy Z Fold 4 models who have registered to One UI 5.0 beta program can download and install the update. It appears that the fifth One UI 5.0 beta update for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 is stable version as its firmware version ends with "ZVK3".
This same update is also available to the Galaxy Z Flip 4 users who have registered to beta program and unlocked their smartphones. The both smartphone have received November 2022 security patch thanks to this update.
You are now able to download the stable Android 13 update if you own a Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 in the United States and if you have registered to One UI 5.0 update on your device.
Navigate to Settings » Software update and tap Download and install to get latest update. All other Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 owners in the United States may receive the stable Android 13 update as early as next week.
The new update offers a new UI design, Color Palette feature, stacked widgets, bigger icons in notifications thanks to Android 13 version. Moreover, performance and accessibility features/optimizations have been improved along with better animations and transitions.
