Poco X6 tested on Geekbench with Snapdragon 7s Gen 2
Poco's new smartphone, the X6, appears in Geekbench tests with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, showcasing its performance capabilities.
The tech community is eagerly anticipating the launch of the Poco X6 series, which is expected to include at least two models: the Poco X6 and the Poco X6 Pro. These phones have been making headlines recently after appearing on multiple certification websites, indicating that their release may be imminent. The Poco X6, in particular, has caught attention with its listing on Geekbench, shedding light on some of its key specifications.
According to the Geekbench listing, the Poco X6 achieved a score of 1013 in the single-core test and 2865 in the multi-core test. These scores suggest a robust performance, underpinned by an octa-core processor that clocks at a maximum speed of 2.40GHz. This processor is speculated to be the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, which is coupled with an Adreno TM 710 GPU. The device is also reported to run on the latest Android 13 OS and is equipped with 12GB of RAM.
Adding to the intrigue, the codename "Garnet" associated with the Poco X6 aligns with that of the Redmi Note 13 Pro in China, hinting at the possibility that the Poco X6 might be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 13 Pro. If this is the case, the Poco X6 could feature a 6.67-inch OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution of 1220 x 2712 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate, offering a premium display experience.

The Poco X6 is expected to come with a versatile triple camera setup, including a 200-megapixel primary sensor with OIS, complemented by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The front of the phone might house a 16-megapixel camera for selfies. However, there are speculations that the global model could sport a 64-megapixel primary camera instead of the 200-megapixel one. Moreover, the device is likely to be powered by a 5,100mAh battery, supporting 67W fast charging.
While the exact specifications and launch date of the Poco X6 series are yet to be officially announced, the recent leaks and certifications suggest that more information could be revealed in the near future.
