POCO M6 5G launched in India

POCO is making a comeback in the Indian smartphone market with the launch of its new POCO M6 5G, following the success of the POCO M6 Pro 5G. This new addition to the POCO lineup is designed to be highly affordable, catering to a wide range of customers.

The POCO M6 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor, ensuring smooth performance. It features a 6.74-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The display also offers a 180Hz touch sampling rate and 600nits peak brightness, enhancing the user experience.

In terms of memory and storage, the device offers options of 4GB, 6GB, or 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, paired with either 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. Storage can be expanded up to 1TB via a dedicated micro-SD card slot. The phone is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery supporting 18W fast charging and runs on MIUI 14 based on Android 13.

The POCO M6 5G boasts a 50MP AI dual camera setup with a wide f/1.8 aperture, PDAF, and LED flash. It also has a 5MP selfie camera housed in a waterdrop notch. The phone measures 168 x 77.91 x 8.19 mm and weighs 195 grams. It offers additional features like splash resistance, dust protection, and various sensors, including ambient light, accelerometer, and electronic compass. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 5, Dual SIM, 5G SA & NSA, LTE, GSM, WCMDA, Bluetooth 5.3, and GPS with GLONASS, Beidou, and Galileo support.
