Oppo's new budget-friendly device unveils its features
The Oppo A58 4G, continually appearing in leaks, today disclosed the rest of its yet to be known characteristics.
An Oppo smartphone with the model number CPH2577 has gained certification from various global authorities, finally revealing its market name. After gaining approvals from Indonesia’s TKDN, India’s BIS, the FCC, and TUV Rheinland, the mystery phone's name was finally unveiled through Thailand's NBTC certification database. Upon its official release, it will be known as the OPPO A58.
Oppo introduced the 5G variants of the Oppo A58 and Oppo A58x in China last year, and this particular model, CPH2577, has appeared on multiple certification sites as the 4G version of the Oppo A58. The certifications from TUV Rheinland, NBTC, BIS, and TKDN didn't offer much detail about the device, but the FCC documentation has provided some of its key specifications.

According to the FCC documents, the Oppo A58 (4G) measures 7.99mm in thickness, weighs 191 grams, and features a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. It's also confirmed that the phone will come with Android 13 and ColorOS 13.1 pre-installed. The remaining details of the phone remain under wraps, but with several certifications already granted, its official debut in markets such as India, Indonesia, and Thailand is expected to be imminent.
In other Oppo news, the company has launched its Oppo Reno 10 series of smartphones in India. The Reno 10 Pro 5G and Reno 10 Pro+ 5G are priced at Rs 39,999 and Rs 54,999, respectively, and are now available for purchase in the country. The pricing for the Reno 10 5G will be confirmed by the brand on July 20.
