The Chinese tech giant Oppo announced the ColorOS 14 schedule for users of its older flagship models or mid-range smartphones.
The much-anticipated Android 14 was unveiled last week, slightly later than its predecessors. Immediately following its official announcement, several partner OEMs shared their strategies and timelines for updating their devices. Notably, Oppo, which was the first to introduce the stable version of Android 13, hasn't rolled out the stable version for any of its devices this year, even though they've been running beta programs for more devices than before.
The reason behind Oppo's delay has now come to light. The company plans to introduce ColorOS 14 on November 16 during their Developer Conference. This revelation was made by the company earlier today. They also shed light on the beta program's schedule for their earlier premium and mid-range devices. By December, these devices are expected to be integrated into the beta program.
