Oppo unveils Find X6 series with massive camera, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and more
Oppo Find X6 series, which has been the subject of several teasers and leaks in recent weeks, has been launched. The lineup includes two models - the Oppo Find X6 and the Oppo Find X6 Pro, as anticipated.
Oppo may not sell its smartphones in the US, but the company is well-regarded for producing some of the top Android phones on the market today. Last year's Find X5 Pro was a prime example, featuring high-end specs, impressive battery life, a stunning display, and a distinctive camera and general design.
Oppo has raised the bar even further with the Find X6 Pro along with vanilla Find X6, creating a device that can rival Samsung's smartphones. Although the Find X6 Pro is presently exclusive to China, it is certainly a device to watch out for.
Oppo Find X6 series launched, here's what to know
Oppo has introduced the Find X6 series with a new design that features a central camera module resembling an Oreo cookie. Both the vanilla and Pro versions have curved displays and 10-bit OLED panels, but the Pro model offers a larger screen with higher specs.
It is more powerful with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, while the vanilla version uses a MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC. Both run on ColorOS 13.1 based on Android 13 and come with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.
The Pro model features a Hasselblad-powered triple camera system with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX988 primary sensor and two 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensors, while the vanilla version has a similar triple 50-megapixel setup. Other features include an in-screen fingerprint sensor, dual stereo speakers, and an IP68 rating for the Pro version.
The Find X6 Pro has a 5,000mAh battery and supports 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, while the Find X6 has a slightly smaller 4,800mAh battery and supports only 80W wired charging.
