OPPO to launch MariSilicon X Gen 2 soon to feature miraculous photography

OPPO will hold OPPO INNO DAY 2022 event soon. In this event, OPPO announced that it will launch OPPO MariSilicon X Gen 2 photography chipset. This new chipset is also reported to enhance picture processing beyond known limits. 

OPPO will launch MariSilicon X Gen 2 imaging chipset at OPPO INNO DAY 2022 event

According to image unveiled by OPPO, MariSilicon X Gen 2 photography chipset for advanced imaging processing, will be unveiled at OPPO INNO DAY 2022 event, which will be held in December, 14. This new NPU comes in the wake of a major investment that the brand has been making since 2019 to have its proprietary technologies. 

As detailed by reports, the OPPO Mariana chip team was established in October 2019. The team currently numbers thousands of people, and is still under construction and expansion. In an interview in November 2022, Liu Bo, vice president of OPPO, said that the shipment of Mariana MariSilicon X has exceeded 10 million, and more orders have been received since then.

Moreover, upcoming MariSilicon X Gen 2 NPU is reported to be utilized in OPPO Find X6 series smartphones and OPPO Reno series smartphone. OPPO Find N2 series could also include this new NPU.
