OPPO has stepped up its game for new smartphones, and the company is now developing its own SoC.
OPPO's own smartphone imaging chipset, had already been introduced. In terms of photography and videography, the imaging chipset did make some noticeable improvements and now the company has rolled up its sleeves to create their own SoC for smartphones. OPPO is reportedly working on a new self-developed smartphone processor, according to another report. The chipset is as of now a work in progress it has been said that it will send off the following year.

OPPO is currently developing an application processor for smartphones, with a planned release date of the second quarter of 2023, according to a digital blogger with access to the Taiwanese semiconductor (TSMC) industry chain. The company has stepped up its game with producing their own SoC. According to the reports it will be massproducted in the next year.
After that, another well-known Weibo blogger named @digitalchatstation posted a copy of his previous news, which essentially matched the information above, indicating that the issue has been resolved. The global patent cross-licensing agreement with OPPO Guangdong Mobile Communications Co., Ltd., a Chinese communications company, was previously announced. The agreement covers fundamental patents for cellular communication protocols like 5G; in other words, OPPO paid for the rights to use advanced 5G technology.
