Oppo Find X7's Geekbench performance revealed
One of the most dynamic brands recently, Oppo continues to refine its Find X7 model.
A recent listing on Geekbench 6 has unveiled an Oppo phone, model number PHZ110, equipped with the forthcoming MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC. This device, speculated to be a prototype of the Find X7, comes packed with 16GB RAM and operates on Android 14.
The Geekbench 6 record provides insights into the architecture of the Dimensity 9300. This chipset exhibits a 1+3+4 structure, boasting a 3.25 GHz Cortex-X4 Prime core, three Cortex X4 Performance cores running at 2.85GHz, and four Cortex A720 power-efficient cores clocked at 2GHz. Additionally, the GPU integrated into this system is the Immortalis G720 MC12.

Performance-wise, the phone achieved a score of 2139 in the single-core test and 7110 in the multi-core counterpart. When juxtaposed against the rumored Snapdragon 8 Gen 3's appearance on Geekbench 6, specifically in the Galaxy S24 Ultra, the Dimensity 9300’s multi-core score shines. However, its single-core results fall slightly short in comparison. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is believed to be structured in a 1+5+2 format, integrating a Prime Cortex-X4 CPU core at 3.3GHz, three Performance Cortex-A720 CPUs at 3.15GHz, two Performance Cortex-A720 CPUs at 2.96GHz, and two Efficiency Cortex-A520 CPUs operating at 2.27GHz.
Further details, as shared by Digital Chat Station, suggest potential enhancements to the regular variant of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, particularly in terms of CPU frequency. Moreover, there are whispers of a significant GPU performance uplift by approximately 35% in the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 destined for the Galaxy.
While it's crucial to interpret these early benchmarks with caution, preliminary results hint at the substantial prowess of both the Dimensity 9300 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. These chipsets are anticipated to deliver marked advancements over their preceding versions.
