Oppo introduced the A77s to the market in October 2022. To advance the series, Oppo has taken the decision to roll out a new smartphone in 2023. Called as Oppo A78 5G, the smartphone has made its debut.

Oppo A78 5G will feature a 6.56-inch IPS LCD screen with HD+ screen resolution. This display will also feature 90Hz refresh rate. There is an 8-megapixel selfie camera in the waterdrop notch of the smartphone.
On the back panel, there are 2 cameras arranged in the form of a double ring, arranged one below the other. The 50-megapixel main camera and 2-megapixel depth sensor take place there. The smartphone features 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage as stated by Oppo.
The Oppo A78 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 as Oppo states. The smartphone will pack a 5,000mAh battery. This battery will be powered by 33W charging rate.
The smartphone is expected to run on Android 13-based ColorOS. The device will go on sale in India on January 14. However, the price tag of the smartphone is unknown yet. From India, the smartphone might arrive in global markets as well.
