Oppo A58 4G expected to hit global markets soon
The Oppo A58 4G's recent listing on SIRIM certification database suggests an impending global launch for the smartphone.
In November 2022, Oppo released the A58 5G model in China, and now the brand is gearing up to introduce a 4G variant, known as the Oppo A58 4G, to the global market. The device has obtained several certifications, including FCC, TUV Rheinland India's BIS, and Thailand's NBTC, and has recently surfaced on Malaysia's SIRIM certification database.

While the SIRIM certification for the Oppo A58 4G (with model number CPH2577) does not disclose specific specifications, it confirms the smartphone's forthcoming launch in Malaysia. Previous certifications, however, have unveiled some key features, including a robust 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The device is expected to have a slim profile, measuring 7.99mm in thickness and weighing 191 grams. Moreover, the Oppo A58 4G is revealed to run on Android 13-based ColorOS 13.1 straight out of the box.

The Oppo A58 4G comes with a 6.56-inch LCD display featuring an HD+ resolution of 1612 x 720 pixels and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. The screen incorporates a dewdrop notch design and supports up to 600 nits of maximum brightness. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, paired with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage.
Operating on ColorOS 12.1 based on Android 12, the device boasts a dual-camera setup with a 50MP primary shooter and a 2MP depth sensor, while an 8MP front-facing camera handles selfies and video calls.
Connectivity options include dual SIM support, 5G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.3, GNSS, and USB Type-C. The phone also features a 3.5mm headphone jack, a MicroSD card slot, dual stereo speakers, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. A robust 5,000mAh battery keeps the device running and supports 33W fast wired charging for quick recharging.
