During this significant event, Jie unveiled a remarkable achievement: the Ace 2 Pro had shattered pre-sale records across all price segments and brands in 2023. An astonishing feat was achieved as 150,000 units were snapped up within an astonishing 26-hour window, marking a resounding success.
Post the press conference, OnePlus engaged in interviews with the media, addressing inquiries and revealing insights into both the industry and the company's upcoming endeavors. Here's a glimpse into their perspective.
Li Jie articulated that OnePlus aspires to lead the high-performance smartphone and gaming domain. The company's current focus involves aligning with users' preferences within various price brackets, identifying pivotal features they seek, and engineering unique value propositions that distinguish OnePlus' offerings.
Furthermore, OnePlus firmly believes that performance and price can coexist in harmony, but their order cannot be reversed. This principle is exemplified by the triumph of their recent smartphone releases, such as the OnePlus 11, OnePlus Ace 2, and OnePlus Ace 2V, all of which have resonated well within the mainland market.
Remarkably, OnePlus' sales volume for the first half of 2023 reached 335% of the same period in the previous year, positioning the brand as the industry's fastest-growing, achieving triple-digit growth—the sole brand to achieve this feat.
The OnePlus Ace 2 has also thrived, reigning supreme in the Android market for online sales exceeding 2,500 yuan. Impressively, from January to June, the sales volume of the OnePlus Ace series escalated by a staggering 1537% compared to the previous year.
Looking ahead, Li Jie shared insights into the evolving market landscape. Despite a decline in the smartphone market, China continues to witness the sale of over 200 million mobile phones annually. This consumption trend hints at a preference for products boasting superior performance, even amid the current consumption environment. This is the precise demographic OnePlus aims to cater to—users seeking smartphones valued at over 2,000 yuan. With its inherent strengths, OnePlus is optimally positioned to provide products that align with the corresponding level of prowess, fostering a sense of optimism for the brand's future prospects.
