OnePlus is gearing up for a major event in China, where it will unveil the much-anticipated OnePlus Ace 3 on January 4, 2024. The event, scheduled to start at 2:30 PM Beijing time, has generated significant interest, especially after a series of leaks and teasers from the company. The latest teaser has revealed an intriguing feature of the upcoming smartphone, enhancing the excitement surrounding its launch.
The new teaser highlights the OnePlus Ace 3's improved signal stability, thanks to its 360° antenna design. This feature is expected to significantly enhance connectivity, a boon particularly for gamers who require consistent and strong signal reception. In addition to this, the smartphone is set to support WiFi 7, promising faster speeds and reduced latency. The device will also include a Game Cloud Computing Private Network, offering a 2-year free trial for an enhanced gaming experience.

Further adding to its appeal, the smartphone is expected to feature a ProXDR panel with Photo Matrix Display Technology. It also boasts a unique “rain touch” display, enabling operation even with wet hands. Alongside the smartphone, OnePlus is set to release a range of accessories, including a limited edition backpack, a knitted hat, a pop-up limited edition notebook, and a Slime Gel Pen.
Rumors about the OnePlus Ace 3's specifications suggest it will have a triple camera setup, including a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro sensor. The front of the phone is expected to feature a 16MP sensor for selfies and video calls.
The display is rumored to be a 6.78-inch BOE X1 8T LTPO panel, offering a resolution of 2780 x 1264 pixels, 2160PWM dimming, and a 120Hz refresh rate, capable of reaching up to 1600 nits of brightness and 4500 nits at peak. The smartphone might share the same panel as the Realme GT 5 Pro.
Under the hood, the OnePlus Ace 3 could be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, accompanied by up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. It is expected to come with a 5500 mAh battery and 100W fast charging capabilities. Additionally, it is rumored to be rebranded as the OnePlus 12R for the global market in January.
