OnePlus has unveiled its newest offering, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro, in China. Building upon its predecessor, the Ace Pro from 2022, it also enhances the features found in the Ace 2, which was released earlier this year. Tailored mainly for the youth and gaming enthusiasts, this smartphone stands out as the brand's pioneering device boasting an impressive 24GB RAM.

Aesthetically, the Ace 2 Pro bears a striking resemblance to its vanilla Ace 2 counterpart, maintaining the distinct alert slider that fans have come to associate with the brand. With a 6.7-inch curved OLED display, it offers a resolution of 1.5K (2772 x 1240 pixels). The screen has a 120Hz refresh rate, 2160Hz PWM dimming, and supports 10-bit HDR. Brightness levels can peak locally at 1600 nits, though the global peak brightness is capped at 1200 nits.

Under the hood, the device houses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, working in tandem with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The internal cooling is managed by a 9140mm² VC cooling system. The software front showcases the ColorOS 13.1, which is based on Android 13, and the device is confirmed to receive three subsequent Android updates. Energy-wise, it is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and offers support for the 150W SuperVOOC fast wired charging.

Connectivity options are comprehensive, including dual SIM, 5G, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, GNSS, NFC, and USB Type-C. Other notable features are an in-screen fingerprint scanner, Dolby Atmos-enabled dual stereo speakers, an IR blaster, and a unique x-axis vibration motor, reminiscent of the OnePlus 11.

Regarding its market value in China, the pricing tiers are as follows: the 12GB + 256GB variant is priced at ¥2,999 ($410), the 16GB + 512GB variant is available for ¥3,399 ($465), and the high-end 24GB + 1TB variant can be purchased for ¥3,999 ($550).
