One noteworthy feature that was brought to light earlier is the presence of a periscope camera. Although there were talks about the device being IP-rated for dust and water resistance in the past, no further updates on this particular feature have been provided since then.
Diving deeper into its specifications, the OnePlus 12 is rumored to flaunt a 120Hz LTPO OLED display. This display is expected to achieve a staggering 3000 nits peak brightness level, along with a QHD+ resolution. Under the hood, the smartphone is expected to house the robust Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. This powerhouse of a chip will be paired with the swift LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, ensuring smooth multitasking and rapid data transfer.
In the optics department, a Hasselblad-tuned triple-camera system is expected. The camera ensemble is rumored to comprise an OIS-assisted 50MP Sony IMX966 sensor, a 48MP Sony IMX581 ultrawide lens, and a 64MP OmniVision OV64B 3x periscope lens.
