OnePlus 12R renders revealed, here's what to see
The highly anticipated OnePlus 12 is slated for a December launch in China, followed by its global release in January. Notably, the company seems set to introduce another premium device, the OnePlus 12R, soon after. Leaked CAD-based renders and information about the OnePlus 11R sequel have been shared by OnLeaks and MySmartPrice. The 12R is expected to make its debut in China in January and is distinct from the recently leaked Ace 2 Pro (with the 11R being based on the Ace 2).
OnePlus 12R rumored specifications
As per the leaked information, the OnePlus 12R is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, accompanied by up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The phone will feature an upgraded camera setup, including a 32MP zoom lens with 2x optical magnification, in addition to a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera.
Compared to its predecessor, the OnePlus 11R, which is based on the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, the 12R will also have a larger 5,500mAh battery with 100W fast charging support. Staying true to OnePlus' design language, the phone will have an off-center camera island.
The device will offer a 6.7" display with a 120Hz refresh rate and "1.5K" resolution, similar to the 11R's 1,240 x 2,772 pixels resolution, and the display will have a slight curve on its sides. Following the tradition of previous R-models, the OnePlus 12R is likely to be released in India soon after or immediately after its launch in China.
