Nubia, which has been drawing attention with its recent smartphone models, seems to be nearing the completion of its new model, Z50 SE.

Details have emerged regarding a potential new smartphone, identified as the Nubia Z50 SE (model NX715J), via the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) website. The released images reveal that the phone adopts the design aesthetics of the Nubia Z50 series, prominently displaying a rear triple-camera configuration within a rectangular module. The showcased model has a black hue, complemented by a curved screen on the front. The design also incorporates volume controls and a distinguishable red-tinted power button on the right. The rear highlights a three-lens camera setup, flanked by an LED flash.

Speculations have been made that this device bears a striking resemblance to the Axon 50 Ultra. In terms of certification, the phone has achieved a 3C certification recently, hinting that it will be bundled with an 80W charger. Nubia's consistent efforts to diversify its range are evident, with traces of two other devices, the Nubia Z60 Ultra and Nubia Z60 Fold, appearing on the GSMA IMEI database, identified by their respective codenames NX721J and NX801J. These devices, however, are still pending their 3C certification.

Reflecting on past launches, the standard Nubia Z50 that was released last year boasted a slew of impressive specifications. It was equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 4.0 storage, and a captivating 6.67-inch 144Hz curved screen. The camera offerings included a 64-megapixel primary lens, utilizing the Sony IMX787, and a secondary 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle macro dual lens. The device was powered by a 5000mAh battery, compatible with 80W rapid charging.

Furthermore, Nubia recently expanded its offerings with the introduction of the Z50S model. This device flaunts a 6.67-inch 144Hz curved display, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. Accompanying its powerful processor is 12GB RAM and a robust 5000mAh battery. Currently, it retails at a starting price of 2,199 Yuan ($300) in China. As for the Nubia Z50 SE, the official launch date remains a mystery.
