Nothing, the emerging brand in the global consumer tech space, has already established itself with its innovative products. To date, the company has launched two smartphones: Nothing Phone 1 and Nothing Phone 2. Recent leaks suggest that Nothing may soon introduce its third smartphone, which is unlikely to be a direct successor to its last model.

This new handset, rumored to be the Nothing Phone 2a, is reportedly being developed under the model number AIN142. A notable feature of this device is its 6.7-inch AMOLED display, complete with a centered punch-hole for the selfie camera. Additionally, leaked images hint at the inclusion of the signature ‘Glyph Interface’ LED lights on the rear of the smartphone.

However, it's important to note that the source of this leak doesn't have a history of reliable information, so this news should be taken with caution.

In parallel, Nothing is also anticipated to launch its third-generation earbuds, Nothing Ear (3), in January. Apart from this, there hasn't been much buzz about new handsets from the company.

If Nothing is indeed planning to release such a smartphone, it's expected to be a mid-range device, potentially positioned as an affordable entry point into the Nothing ecosystem, below the Nothing Phone (2).
