New leaks emerge from the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 model
Chinese tech giant Xiaomi's anticipated new foldable smartphone, the MIX Fold 3, continues to reveal itself through visual leaks.
Recent online leaks have given us a closer glimpse into Xiaomi's upcoming foldable device, the Fold 3. These images, shared by a recognized tipster on Weibo named 定焦数码 (fixed focus digital), present the back panel of the Mix Fold 3. Notably, this new design closely mirrors that of the earlier model, the Xiaomi Mix Fold 2. From the shared visuals, it's evident that the Mix Fold 3 will upgrade to a quad-camera setup, as opposed to the previous model's triple camera system. Impressively, this camera array will be optimized by LEICA. The Fold 3's rear will be adorned with leather, enhancing its luxury appeal.
The source further shed light on the smartphone's camera capabilities. A highlight is its 5x periscope telephoto lens, a considerable advancement when compared to the Mix Fold 2, which possessed 2x optical and portrait zoom. Moreover, the camera will feature a 3.2x portrait mode.

Adding to the anticipation, there have been whispers about the Mix Fold 3's internal specifications. Rumors suggest it will house a 4,800mAh battery, supported by 50W wireless charging and 67W wired charging capabilities. Powering this device could be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, accompanied by storage options ranging from 512GB to 1TB of Universal Flash storage.
While the exact release date remains a mystery, the frequency of these leaks hints that Xiaomi might unveil the Fold 3 by the month's end.
