New images of the iQOO 12 series have been leaked
New image leaks related to the 12 series developed by Chinese tech giant iQOO emerged.
Recently, an image believed to be the iQOO 12 was shared on Weibo, China's popular micro-blogging platform. Although the photo's clarity was subpar, making it challenging to pinpoint the smartphone's design details, it hinted at a squircle-shaped camera module on a white glass back. Subsequently, an artist, using that image as a reference, created rendered images to visualize the phone better. It's crucial to understand these are not official representations but artistic interpretations of the leaked image.
The iQOO 12 and its counterpart, the iQOO 12 Pro, are expected to come in three distinct color variants: black, white, both with glass backs, and a unique red variant boasting a leather back. The rendered images depict variations in the screen design. While one device flaunts a flat display, the other showcases a curved-edge screen. These variations are believed to represent the design choices for the iQOO 12 and 12 Pro, respectively.

In terms of the rear design, similarities are evident. The back features a square-shaped camera module with rounded corners towards the upper-left. This module accommodates three cameras, adorned with VCS+ branding. Additionally, a pill-shaped vertical LED flash is seen positioned to the camera module's right.
Rumors are also circulating about the iQOO 12 series' official unveiling. The buzz suggests that the release could be on Nov. 7 in China. Powering these devices will be the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. There's also talk of the iQOO 12 making its debut in India the same month, potentially marking its place as the inaugural Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 smartphone in India.
