The foldable smartphone sector's most popular series, Galaxy Z Flip, will soon introduce its Flip 5 model.
Another exciting reveal expected at Samsung's Galaxy Unpacked event on July 26 is the Galaxy Z Flip 5. This device is rumored to carry the largest cover display the Galaxy Z Flip series has ever seen, which will reportedly support various Google apps including YouTube, Google Maps, and Messages. Images leaked by well-known tipster Roland Quandt suggest an impressive range of capabilities for the Z Flip 5’s cover screen.
These images, now removed, demonstrated the Galaxy Z Flip 5's gapless design. The cover display of the Z Flip 5 is shown to support numerous widgets, such as calendar, messages app with full keyboard functionality, Samsung wallet, time and battery status, weather, and call history. In addition, the camera app appears to be compatible with the cover screen. Given these capabilities, the cover screen of the Z Flip 5 is set to receive a significant upgrade compared to the Galaxy Z Fold 4, which sports a 1.9-inch cover display.
