Motorola Moto G54 5G's features leaked before its launch
The nearly complete specifications of Motorola, a China-based tech giant's new smartphone, the Moto G54 5G, have surfaced.
Motorola has confirmed the announcement of the Moto G54 set for September 5th in China. The phone's design and color variations were unveiled through recently leaked renders. A major highlight before its official announcement is the detailed specifications brought forth by a report.
The Moto G54 5G will sport a 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen, featuring a punch-hole design. With an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, the display will also boast a 20:9 aspect ratio and a refreshing 120Hz rate. Under the hood, it's powered by the Dimensity 7020 chip, the same one found in the Vivo Y77t, which made its debut in China earlier.

Buyers can expect two available configurations for the Moto G54 5G: one with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage, and another with a robust 12 GB RAM paired with 256 GB storage. A significant highlight is its 6,000mAh battery, supporting 30W fast charging capabilities. The phone is also anticipated to run on MyUX-based Android 13 out of the box.
For photography enthusiasts, the Moto G54 5G will not disappoint. A 16-megapixel front-facing camera will cater to selfies and video calls. The rear setup is expected to include a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens boasting a 118-degree FOV. The primary camera can record Full HD videos at both 30fps and 60fps. In contrast, the ultra-wide and front cameras will support Full HD video capturing at 30 fps.
Lastly, in terms of dimensions and weight, the G54 will measure 161.56 x 73.82 x 8.9mm and tip the scales at 196 grams. Other features to look forward to include a hybrid dual SIM slot with microSD card support, 5G connectivity, 5GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, a USB-C port, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a traditional 3.5mm audio jack.
