China-based tech giant Motorola has finally introduced the Edge 40 model, one of their eagerly anticipated phones.
Motorola has recently launched its new flagship smartphone, the Edge 40, in India. With its top-tier specifications and features, it promises a premium experience. The pricing details and other finer points of this device have also been disclosed.
The Edge 40 model showcases a luxurious design, characterized by a sandblasted aluminum frame, and vegan leather or matte acrylic options for the rear panel. Adding to its finesse are the curved sides and an impressively lightweight and slim profile.
One of the highlights of this smartphone is its 6.55-inch curved pOLED display, which boasts a refresh rate of 144Hz, a peak brightness of up to 1200 nits, a touch sampling rate of 360Hz, and Full HD+ resolution. Interestingly, this phone also features IP68 water and dust resistance, making it one of the thinnest smartphones worldwide to carry such a rating.
Internally, the Edge 40 is powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 8020 SoC, making it the first smartphone to host this particular chipset. It features 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It is fueled by a 4,400mAh battery that supports 68W TurboPower fast charging, 15W wireless charging, and even offers 5W reverse charging. Other features include Android 13 OS, stereo speakers, three microphones, Dolby Atmos support, and NFC.
