While the MIIT certification provides limited insights, tipster Digital Chat Station has shared some intriguing information about this upcoming smartphone. According to the tipster, the key upgrades in the Meizu 21 series will revolve around its core configurations, with minimal changes in its overall appearance.
One of the standout upgrades expected in this lineup is the integration of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, Qualcomm's highly anticipated next-generation flagship mobile chip, set to be officially announced in late October 2023.
In terms of camera capabilities, the tipster suggests that the Meizu 21 series will boast a 50-megapixel primary camera equipped with a sizable image sensor. Additionally, the standard version of the phone is likely to feature a conventional telephoto lens, while the Pro version is expected to sport a periscope telephoto lens. The lineup is also anticipated to retain the flat-screen design characteristic of the Meizu 20 series.
Meizu marked its return to the flagship smartphone market this year with the Meizu 20 series, which included three models: Meizu 20, Meizu 20 Pro, and Meizu 20 INFINITY Unbounded Edition, all powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processors.
