Logitech's new chair can transform into a racing simulator cockpit
Logitech's latest chair offers a unique transformation into a fully functional racing simulator cockpit.
Logitech has recently unveiled a new $299 cockpit designed for racing simulators, and surprisingly, it wouldn't look out of place at a backyard cookout. Teaming up with gaming seat manufacturer Playseat, Logitech has introduced the Playseat Challenge X, a versatile gaming setup. It comes equipped with all the necessary components to support your gaming wheel, and when not in use, it easily transforms into a foldable chair for convenient storage.

Notably, The Verge highlights the striking similarity between this Logitech-branded cockpit and Playseat's non-Logitech Challenge racing setup, which is available at a $70 lower price point. However, the Logitech version distinguishes itself by including a tilting pedal bracket and a gearshift mount, providing added convenience for racing enthusiasts. While it doesn't include the actual gaming accessories required for racing simulations, it seamlessly integrates with Logitech's G wheels and the compatible driving force shifters.
As for the chair itself, it employs a breathable material designed to keep users cool during intense gaming sessions. With six adjustable positions, you can easily find the most comfortable setup. Furthermore, for taller individuals in need of extra legroom, the pedals can be adjusted to accommodate their height. This versatile cockpit can accommodate users up to seven feet in height and supports a maximum user weight of 359 pounds. If you're seeking a straightforward and relatively affordable chair for your racing games, the Playseat Challenge X is now available for purchase on Amazon.
