According to recent leaks from marketing materials, the upcoming Google Pixel 7a will bear a striking resemblance to the Pixel 6a, albeit with an updated design that aligns with the mainline Pixel 7 series.
However, the Pixel 7a will still retain its 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED display, albeit with an improved 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will be powered by the Tensor G2 chipset and will support 18W wired charging and wireless charging, in addition to its IP67 dust and water resistance rating.
Its upgraded camera system will include a rear dual camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor and a 13MP ultra-wide, and a 13MP front camera. Other software features will include call screening, photo unblur, magic eraser, and night sight, among others.
The phone will come in four colors and is expected to retail under $500, with rumors suggesting it may be the final Pixel a series smartphone.
