OnePlus is preparing to expand its Ace 2 series with the high-end Ace 2 Pro model, but before the official reveal, the device's key specifications have leaked online.

OnePlus is gearing up to introduce a new addition to its Ace 2 series, specifically the high-end Ace 2 Pro model. However, before any formal disclosure, key specifications of the device have been leaked.

Well-known leaker Digital Chat Station, via Weibo (a popular Chinese microblogging site), has provided the latest information. The company had already launched the Ace 2 and Ace 2V models in China earlier this year. The Ace 2 Pro, the newest family member, is expected to bring updated specifications, including a state-of-the-art Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC from Qualcomm, according to the leaks.

This likely translates to a Full HD+ resolution AMOLED panel with curved edges. The display for this smartphone is said to be supplied by BOE, suggesting that the Ace 2 Pro will be a cost-effective flagship device, potentially missing some features found in the OnePlus 11 model.

Rumors also hint at the Ace 2 Pro featuring the same camera system and battery pack as the base Ace 2 model, although this remains uncertain. The Pro model is projected to be launched in the latter half of this year.
