Samsung is preparing to launch its eagerly awaited Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 foldable smartphones in the imminent future. Yet, before the formal declaration, a recent leak has furnished an initial glimpse of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 model via an exposed render.
The leak traces back to a report from MySmartPrice, which showcased a fresh design render of the Galaxy Z Flip 5. Insiders have released this render of the upcoming folding phone, granting the first peek at the device. Observing the render unveils the device's aesthetic, confirming the substantial new cover display on the Galaxy Z Flip 5. It is worth mentioning that the upcoming Flip model has been speculated to exhibit a lengthier 3.4-inch external display.

This size surpasses the 1.9-inch display seen in preceding models. Interestingly, this makes it even grander than the 3.26-inch screen incorporated in the Oppo Find N2 Flip. The pair of cameras are horizontally arranged with the cover display positioned directly below it. Thanks to the expanded screen area, the device will likely be able to accommodate more features and exhibit more data on this panel.
One possible utilization is leveraging it as an improved viewfinder for capturing selfies with the higher-resolution rear cameras. From what has been gathered so far, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 will boast a tall 6.7-inch primary AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution. Internally, it will contain the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, powered by a 3,700mAh battery pack that may support 25W fast charging. The 12-megapixel dual camera setup is likely to be retained on the back. The render leak, however, hasn't revealed any additional fine details. Hence, stay tuned for further updates.
