Earlier this year, OnePlus released its Buds Pro 2 globally. Anticipation is building around its successor, even though a precise release date remains ambiguous. The design of the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 appears to be a semi-in-ear style, consistent with its predecessors. However, a noticeable change is the omission of the dual-tone design present in the Buds Pro and Buds Pro 2. The earbuds' stem exhibits a glossy black finish, contrasting with the matte texture of the silicone ear tips, which present a slightly different hue. Impressively, the Buds Pro 3 are purported to be lighter than their forerunners, weighing in at a mere 4.77 grams. The earphones' case retains its recognizable square-shaped architecture. In terms of durability, the case boasts an IPX4 certification, while the earbuds themselves carry an IP55 rating.

On the technical front, the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 are rumored to feature dual drivers, encompassing a 10.4mm woofer and a 6mm tweeter. Users can expect active noise cancellation up to 48 db. Connectivity advancements include Bluetooth 5.3 support, Google Fast Pair, and the ability to connect with two devices simultaneously. Powering these earphones is a 520mAh battery, with each individual earbud supplemented by a 58mAh cell. Battery performance claims suggest 6 to 9 hours of playback depending on the active noise cancellation status. Alongside the charging case, the combined battery longevity is expected to stretch to 33 hours.
