Launch date and prices for Xiaomi 14 were leaked

Following the successful global introduction of the Xiaomi 13T, all eyes are now on the impending Xiaomi 14 series set to make its debut in China. Today's surprise leak has unveiled not only the comprehensive specifications but also disclosed the launch date and pricing details for Xiaomi's next-generation flagship, the Xiaomi 14.

According to the recent leak, the Xiaomi 14 is scheduled for release on October 27, 2023, and will be available for purchase in China starting from October 31, 2023. The price points for the various configurations are:

12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage: 3999 CNY (547 USD)
12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage: 4299 CNY (588 USD)
16 GB RAM + 512 GB storage: 4599 CNY (630 USD)
16 GB RAM + 1 TB storage: 4999 CNY (684 USD)
A distinct feature captured from the leaked information is the Xiaomi 14's prominent square camera module, which houses three Leica-branded sensors. The camera configuration comprises a trio of 50MP lenses, including an OV50H main sensor, an ultra-wide lens, and a telephoto unit.

In terms of display, the Xiaomi 14 is set to boast a 6.44-inch C8 OLED 12-bit screen with a 1.5K resolution. Users can expect a 120Hz refresh rate, an impressive 2,800 nits of peak brightness, along with Dolby Vision and HDR10+ support. Other notable features include dual-stereo speakers, an IP68-certified body, and an IR Blaster.

Internally, the Xiaomi 14 is rumored to house the yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. This will be paired with LPDDR5X RAM and the cutting-edge “UFS 4.0 Enhanced” storage. To address thermal concerns, the device will also integrate a comprehensive VC liquid cooling system. Powering all of this will be a 4,600mAh battery, supplemented with 90W wired, 50W wireless, and 10W reverse wireless charging capabilities.
