According to The Elec, LG Innotek and Jahwa Electronics will supply 70% and 30% of the OIS actuators that are utilized in the periscope lens of the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Japan Alps and Mitsumi, Apple's current suppliers, appear to be being replaced.
In the business, LG Innotek and Jahwa are well-known brands. Particularly, Jahwa has collaborated with Samsung Electronics and Samsung Electro-Mechanics on ball-guided actuators. The Galaxy A54 and the upcoming Galaxy S23 series are said to be supplied by the Korean company.
The iPhone 15 series may, as usual, launch in spring of this year. Apple may be limiting some of the most important hardware features to the higher-end iPhone 15 Pro, according to rumors, in order to further differentiate the two models.
